Try to use your own words, but if you want to quote a passage from research that you've done, you should include a reference.
If you want to add an opinion or argument (AO2-style comments), then you should use red text.
The main thing is to develop connectivity by trying to create new linked pages. So, for example, if you see a page that mentions the anthropic principle, you can create a link from there to a new page which explains the anthropic principle. Someone else might then read that, and create a link to a new page explaining what the 'firing-range analogy' is!

John Stuart Mill, sought general rules that could be followed that would overall produce the most happiness for the majority of people, this is known as rule utilitarianism.

Just a note to point out that Sally's comments would be better placed on a different page. The first could go on the page about Mill, and the second could go on a page about the development of human life or specifically about the primitive streak. To add text in the main section (above the comments area), you need to click on the EDIT tab at the top.
